Which is your approach to wedding photography ?
By being discrete in the way I work, focusing on people and their sentiments, my aim is to create a set of photos that fully tell the story of your wedding day. I anticipate emotional moments, joy, tears, love. I seek for reactions between you and your guests. Good light, interesting composition, atmosphere, subjects within context are key elements to my storytelling photography.
Do you take family and group photos ?
Of course I do. Families photos are part of my story. Wedding are a great opportunity to have family and friends gathered and I know how important is for couples to have pictures with people they love.
Do you edit the photos?
Yes, it's very important in my workflow and I edit all off your photos to give the aesthetics I want. I spend many more hours editing the images than photographing your wedding.
How many photos do you take?
Enough to describe the event.I am not interested in quantity but in the essence and quality of the pictures. The way I photograph needs many images so that I can describe your story but I am selective when I click the shutter.
What kind of light do you use?
Most of the time I use available light. In entirely dark scenes I use artificial light. My cameras combined with the best lenses for low light performance have tremendous possibilities for shooting under low light conditions. It's a conscious choice of mine to work with available light to capture the real atmosphere of the place.
What is next day shoot?
Many times during the wedding day we don't have the time to take couple photos or the light and the location are not ideal. We choose another day, after the wedding to do the couple photos. My style for this kind of shoot is to give some directions but I don't overdo it. My aim is to make you feel relaxed and express your personality without having to pose in an awkward and fake manner.
What is an engagement or pre-wedding shoot?
It's the same concept as the next day shoot except that you dress casually and we do it another day before the wedding. I have the chance to spend more time with you knowing each other and you get used to being in front of the camera.
Do you travel for weddings out of Athens?
Yes I do and I enjoy it very much. I love travelling , seeing new places and meeting new people. I have great experience in destination weddings and I know how to organise as trip and how to be prepared to address any possible situation. We agree on travel expenses before the wedding so that you know what to pay and don't have unpleasant surprises. I am available to travel out of Greece as well. I have photographed in Switzerland and France
Do you provide the high-resolution files ?
Yes I deliver all the final edited photographs in high-resolution files with full printing rights.
What kind of albums to you provide ?
There are many options to choose from a big range of collections from Italy and Greece. The images are printed onto the pages and my layout is classic, clean and minimal. No fancy design and cheap effects. I want the eye to focus on the images and the rule "less is more" apply to my album design.
What is the client gallery ?
Through my website you have access to a password protected area where I upload your photographs organised in galleries presented with a beautiful layout. You give the password to anyone who you want to be able to view the images and the download PIN if you want to let them download a photo or a whole gallery. From there you can make lists for albums and prints, upload to social media, make any photo you don't want to show "private" , etc
Do you provide video services ?
I prefer to focus on my art which is photography. I can give you recommendations for videographers or you can hire someone else for filming your wedding. Most of my associate videographers offer discounts for my couples.
Do you work with a second photographer ?
Depending on the kind of the event I work with a second photographer who can offer a more significant variety of photos and angles allow me to move more around and take more creative photographs.
Do you offer baptism and family photography ?
Of course I offer and I love doing this kind of photography! I have shot plenty of baptism and family sessions but I am very careful of showing children on my website. I respect parent's concerns about their children privacy and I show a limited number with their permission.
What is your pricing ?
The majority of my services are customisable according to your needs. I have photographed many variations of weddings with different levels of difficulty so before I give you a price I need to know some information about your wedding.
How early should we book you and how can you hold the date for us ?
I book most of the dates 6-10 months in advance. I need a booking fee to hold the date and a signed contract.
